Pflugerville City Council approved March 9 a $250,000 economic development performance agreement between the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. and MDC Vacuum Products LLC. The agreement was approved on consent, meaning no additional discussion was held prior to council approval.
A $250,000 economic development performance agreement between the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. and MDC Vacuum Products LLC will be considered by Pflugerville City Council on March 9.
MDC is a California-based industrial company that specializes in "vacuum technology, ceramic-to-metal sealing and gas delivery solutions," per the company's website.
The PCDC board approved an agreement March 4 between the PCDC and MDC in an amount not to exceed $250,000, according to city documents. MDC will bring "up to 90 jobs" to Pflugerville over the course of five years, per the proposed agreement.
The company will make a capital investment of $4.45 million, and PCDC will provide up to $250,000 in incentives following MDC's completion of all requirements.
