A $250,000 economic development performance agreement between the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. and MDC Vacuum Products LLC will be considered by Pflugerville City Council on March 9.
MDC is a California-based industrial company that specializes in "vacuum technology, ceramic-to-metal sealing and gas delivery solutions," per the company's website.
The PCDC board approved an agreement March 4 between the PCDC and MDC in an amount not to exceed $250,000, according to city documents. MDC will bring "up to 90 jobs" to Pflugerville over the course of five years, per the proposed agreement.
The company will make a capital investment of $4.45 million, and PCDC will provide up to $250,000 in incentives following MDC's completion of all requirements.
