A COVID-19 testing site in Pflugerville is ending services as of March 16.

A news release from Austin Public Health states officials hope a decrease in demand at the facility, which began Feb. 14 at Heritage Park, 901 Old Austin-Hutto Road, is a sign of fewer cases in the area.

The testing site operated through a partnership between the APH, the city of Pflugerville and Spartan Medical.

The release states the APH recommends testing for individuals experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, and testing will still be available at Metz Elementary School in East Austin.
