According to a July 15 news release, the restrictions apply to all city of Hutto water customers, including residential, commercial, industrial and institutional.
Customers with addresses ending in even numbers may water outdoors and conduct other high-use activities on Sundays and Thursdays, and customers with addresses ending in odd numbers may do the same on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
The city defines outdoor watering as watering using automatic irrigation systems and hose-end sprinkler systems, and the release states there are no restrictions on watering by hand.
