After more than a month of preparation following Gov. Greg Abbott's lift of the statewide mask mandate, Hutto City Hall, Municipal Court and Public Library will reopen to the public in May.

The municipal court will continue to have virtual court appearances unless an in-person appearance is requested in advance, according to a city news release. Hutto City Hall and Municipal Court will reopen May 3.

"We are excited to welcome visitors back to Hutto City Hall and can't wait to serve more of our community members in person," public information officer Stacy Schmitt said in the release.

Hutto Public Library will reopen June 7, with curbside pickup continuing to be available. As part of the reopening, the library will have check-out and check-in along with computer use available.
