Victorian House of Hutto

The venue, owned by Mike and Kathy Teeter, offers a space for parties, weddings, luncheons and other events.

The space—the earliest recorded deed for which dates back to 1890—can accommodate up to 50 guests. It features a carriage barn, bridal suite and the main house. Some of the equipment included for those who rent the space include chairs, tables, charger plates and an audio speaker.Coming soon


Swig

The drive-thru drink shop Swig recently signed a lease to take over 1,500 square feet of space at The Commons at Star Ranch, commercial real estate firm ARVO Ventures announced via social media in March.

The Utah-based company specializes in “dirty sodas,” offering customizable soda drinks, non-soda beverages and energy drinks. Customers can combine a variety of flavors, syrups and creams blended with a classic soda, such as Coke or Dr. Pepper. The site is located next to the Goodwill Star Ranch store in Hutto.Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

A new Kura Revolving Sushi Bar will open in Pflugerville, Newton Hoang, vice president at Kura Sushi, announced on LinkedIn. The restaurant will join several new businesses east of SH 130, including a Frost Bank and Ike's Love & Sandwiches.


Kura offers classic sushi dishes, as well as soups, noodles and deserts, served on a conveyer belt. The restaurant will finish its $1.4 million build-out in February 2026, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The Pflugerville location is one of several opening across the country, including in The Woodlands.
