QuikTrip, a national convenience store and gas station chain, opened a new location in Pflugerville off FM 685 near Aldi.

Inspired by a chain of 7-Eleven stores, founder Burt Holmes began his vision of a small grocery store in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1958. The company now employs more than 30,000 individuals, according to the QuikTrip website.

The store features beverages and grab-and-go food options.
