Three businesses coming to Hutto have pushed back their anticipated opening dates due to delays in construction.
1. Country Donuts, a doughnut shop planned for 133 Front St., Ste. 300, Hutto, was originally slated to open in January. However, owner Johnny Khan said the opening has been pushed back to an unspecified date pending construction and permitting.
2. Luis Marquez Studio, located at 3750 Limmer Loop, Ste. A, Hutto, was previously planned to open in February. However, unexpected delays have paused the opening time until at least 2023, co-owner Loren Marquez said. When open, co-owner Luis Marquez said the studio will handcraft custom furniture, including tables, mirrors and lamps. 512-642-6274. www.luismarquezstudio.com
3. Previously planned to open in early February, the Taco Casa location at 330 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto, is now set to open by early June. Hutto Taco Casa President Kelly Franklin said supply chain issues and weather-related construction hurdles contributed to the delay. Taco Casa has locations across Texas, but the Hutto location will be its first in the Austin area. www.tacocasatexas.com
