This marks the seventh consecutive year for the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. to receive the certificate and is one out of 51 communities recognized.
The Economic Excellence Recognition program honors organizations that achieve higher standards through professional development, according to a press release.
Amy Madison, Pflugerville Community Development Corp. executive director, said it was an honor for the board and staff to be recognized for their high standards of excellence.
“It not only sets us apart, but clearly demonstrates our commitment to responsible economic growth and development,” Madison said.
The Pflugerville Community Development Corp. is responsible for attracting, retaining and expanding businesses as well as increasing tax revenue to support community development.
