Walnut Creek Pool, at Walnut Creek Park at 12138 N. Lamar Blvd., is now open daily from noon-7 p.m. except Thursdays when the pool is closed.

This schedule will be in place through Aug. 13. On Sunday, Aug. 14 the pool will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.. The entry fee is $4-$9. Children under 1 and honorably discharged veterans are free.

The multilane, 25-meter pool ranges in depth from 3-12 feet. It also has a wading pool, picnic tables, a changing area and a covered outdoor shower. A chair lift and zero-depth entry is also available. 512-834-0824. www.austintexas.gov/department/walnut-creek-pool
