UPDATED July 24 to correct the Del Robles extension terminus
1. MoPac express lanes
To allow excavation work for the express lane underpass into downtown Austin, the southbound exit to Fifth and Cesar Chavez streets was moved north to Enfield Road on July 13. This change will last for three to five months. Other current work is asphalt paving north of RM 2222.

2. Turn lane addition
The Austin Board of Realtors began construction in late June to add a turn lane into its headquarters at 4800 Spicewood Springs Road. Drivers would also be able to use the lane to access properties on the south side of the roadway.

3. Turn lane expansions
The Texas Department of Transportation is expanding the left-turn lane from eastbound RM 2222 to McNeil Drive to two lanes as well as lengthening the right-turn lane from westbound RM 2222 to McNeil.

4. Loop 360 resurfacing
TxDOT is resurfacing Loop 360 from US 183 to Walsh Tarlton Lane. The project will take about two months to complete.

5. Del Robles Drive extension
Through an interlocal agreement with Capital Metro, the city is extending the road by 300 feet to the end of the city's right of way near the MoPac frontage road.

6. New bike lanes
The city will add 5.2 miles of bicycle lanes on Cameron and Dessau roads between Hwy. 290 and Braker Lane. The project is a follow-up to the project’s first phase, which added new bicycle lanes on Cameron between Hwy. 290 and 51st Street.
