Local no-kill animal shelter Austin Pets Alive! will be at Casper at Domain Northside on May 6 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with adoptable cats and kittens.

All adoptable APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered and have updated vaccines and a microchip, according to the organization. Adoption fees will be waived.

APA! was founded in 1997 and has been a driving force behind Austin becoming the largest and longest-running No-Kill City in the United States, according to the organization.
