Three of the top five employers of Concordia University Texas graduates are independent school districts across the state, according to a recent study.

OnlineU, a research company that compiles data and resources on online college degrees, on July 13 published a report analyzing the top employers of recent college graduates from Texas’ top online colleges.

Concordia, located off RM 620 in Northwest Austin, was ranked sixth in the report for OnlineU’s “Salary Score,” which compares alumni starting salaries from similar programs across all colleges.

According to the report, Austin ISD employs the most recent graduates from Concordia. Overall, AISD employed 82 graduates from the college’s bachelor's degree programs.

OnlineU compiled the data by analyzing LinkedIn profiles of Concordia graduates. Data was collected in June, but the data represents Concordia graduates from all graduating class years.

Dallas ISD and Leander ISD ranked third and fourth, employing the most recent Concordia graduates, respectively. LISD hired 46 graduates from Concordia.

Hospital system St. David’s HealthCare ranked second, hiring 57 graduates. Round Rock-based Dell Technologies employed 45 recent graduates from Concordia, coming in fifth in the OnlineU rankings.

In its report, OnlineU stated in many cases the No. 1 employer of recent graduates was the college itself. Those results were omitted from the report.
