The Salty is now serving sweet treats in North Austin with its latest location opening.

For its grand opening weekend, the location will host a series of events.

Customers can look forward to giveaways and in-store activities such as a “Vibe Vault” which will give up to 200 guests per day the chance to win mystery prizes. Mystery prizes include free coffee, discounts, gift cards, branded merchandise and more.

The brand operates locations in Texas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

In a press release, CEO and co-founder Andy Rodriguez said the company has wanted to grow in the city since opening its first Austin location on South Congress.

“Domain Northside is the perfect next stop for us — we can’t wait to connect with new guests and celebrate this opening, and what better day than to open on National Donut Day,” Rodriguez said. “We’re excited to become a bigger part of the Austin community and bring our Salty experience to even more people.”

The location features Texas-inspired artwork and a mural to reflect its surroundings and foster community, as stated in a press release.


What they offer

The business will have year-round flavors including Traditional Glazed, Brown Butter and Salt Cake, Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake and more. Some seasonal flavors which will be offered for a limited time throughout the year include Samoa Cookie Donut, Tiramisu and Vegan PBJ.

Customers can also find baked goods served daily until sold out such as Terry Blacks BBQ Brisket Kolache, Everything Cragel, Cheddar Cragel and Jalapeno Sausage and Cheddar Kolache.

Community members can place walk-up orders, pick-up orders and delivery orders at the new location.
