Smokin' Oak Wood-Fired Pizza & Taproom now serving Northwest Austin area, featuring self-pour taproom

Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom opened Aug. 25 near the Four Points area at 8300 N. RM 620, Ste. K-200, Austin.

The restaurant offers a variety of wood-fired pizzas and sandwiches along with salads, starters and desserts. With the restaurant’s featured self-pour taproom, customers are able to choose from a selection of craft and domestic beers, wines, and mixed cocktails.


Hot dog, burger joint Dog Haus in Four Points reopens

Dog Haus Biergarten, a national franchise that specializes in hot dogs, sausages, burgers and fried chicken, had a reopening ceremony Dec. 1 at 7710 N. RM 620 Ste. 750, Austin, to commemorate the location’s new owners Mike and Heather Durbin. Dog Haus also offers hand-dipped corn dogs, fried chicken sandwiches, wings, chicken strips and a kids menu.

Cajun Claws to serve Louisiana-style seafood in Northwest Austin


Cajun Claws, a restaurant serving Louisiana-style cuisine, is expected to open in Lake Creek Festival Shopping Center at the intersection of Hwy. 183 and Lake Creek Parkway in February 2023.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe to open in Northwest Austin

Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a Georgia-based franchise with locations in South Austin, is expected to open Feb. 1 at 7301 N. RM 620, Ste. 130, Austin. The cafe is known for its flats, wraps, sandwiches and smoothies.
