At its June 9 meeting, Austin City Council agreed to hold a public hearing to consider an ordinance to annex 52.6 acres in the Robinson Ranch area at 6204 W. Parmer Lane, which is adjacent to Apple’s new $1 billion campus.
The property will need to be annexed to accommodate further expansion of Apple’s new campus. The land is zoned for pasture land or agricultural use.
The proposed ordinance would annex the area for full purposes and ratify an agreement with the owner of the land for the provision of municipal services at the conclusion of the public hearing, according to the city’s recommendation for action to council.
A tentative date for the public hearing is June 16 at Austin City Hall.
