Natural Grocers will close its North Austin location after 15 years with closing sales starting soon.

What to know

The storefront is closing due to “unsuccessful lease renewal negotiations,” as stated in a news release.

"Austin has always held a special place in our story," Natural Grocers co-president Kemper Isely said in the release. "From the day we opened our first Austin-area store in 2009, we have felt embraced by a community that values health, individuality and creativity—values that resonate deeply with who we are as a company. While we are disappointed to close our Arbor Walk location due to an unresolved lease renewal, this decision allows us to focus on strengthening our presence across the Austin area and beyond.”

Sales will begin on Sept. 2 featuring 25% off all items, and all sales will be final.

Customers can find a variety of products such as body care, beauty products and supplements in addition to the store’s dairy, meat and produce.

What else?

The company operates 25 locations across Texas and the store is one of four Austin-area locations.

All other locations will remain open to serve customers.
