Joe Greene took over as owner in early January and said he got into coins as a hobby about 16 years ago. After a job layoff in 2011, his hobby turned into a business.
“I got my Texas auctioneer licenses in about 2012 and started selling coins mostly online,” Greene said. “I like people and enjoy visiting with them about coins and bullion.”
Greene said the shop buys and sells gold, silver and other precious metals, collectible coins, paper money, gold, platinum and silver jewelry, scrap silver, and sterling flatware. The shop also sells a variety of coin supplies.
