One of Austin’s most storied breweries is about to become larger.

Celis Brewery announced it is opening the CTX Beer Garden at Celis Brewery with a grand opening ceremony on Oct. 23. The new beer garden and taproom will open adjacent to the existing brewery, which is located at 10001 Metric Blvd., Austin.

According to a news release from the brewery, the CTX Beer Garden is 12,000 square feet and will offer outdoor seating, food trucks, a stage for live music and a new indoor taproom with more than 20 draught options.

“This new feature will allow people more opportunities to explore the grounds and enjoy our beers with their family, friends and dogs,” Celis Brewer owner Christine Celis said in an Oct. 13 news release. “What I am most proud of is that while the brewery pays homage to my father and the traditional Belgian brewing style, our new beer garden represents Celis moving towards the future.”

The CTX Beer Garden will host a slew of new programming, according to Celis Brewery. The brewery expects to hold Austin FC viewing parties, as well as beer tastings at the beer garden and taproom.

The new CTX Beer Garden will be open Wednesday through Thursday from 3-10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon-10 p.m.
