These 4 health-focused businesses are now open, coming soon in Northwest Austin


Four Northwest Austin-area businesses have opened recently or are coming soon.

1. Physical therapy is now available in The Shops at Arbor Walk

An eighth Austin-area location of Results Physiotherapy opened in June in the Shops at Arbor Walk, 10515 N. MoPac, Ste. A-120, Austin. The Tennessee-based company offers referral-based physical therapy that focuses on pain-free results. 512-348-2806.

2. Fast lab results are now an option on Research Boulevard

Marco Fernandez opened a franchise of All LabTests Fast on Sept. 5 at 13376 Research Blvd., Ste. 129, Austin. The site offers a variety of on-site testing, including for allergies, diabetes, DNA, paternity, drug use and sexually transmitted diseases. 512-357-8177.

3. A clinic focused on the health of men will open soon on Burnet Road

Total Men’s Primary Care, a full-service, male-only doctor’s office, is planning its sixth Austin-area location near The Domain, 11005 Burnet Road, Ste. 118, Austin. The facility will accept all major insurance plans and provide services such as physical and wellness exams, allergy screenings, flu shots, lab testing and more. An opening date has not been announced.

4. A new walk-in clinic opened at The Samaritan Center for veterans and their families

Nonprofit The Samaritan Center added a walk-in clinic for veterans and military family members at its office at 8956 Research Blvd., Bldg. 2, Austin. Beginning Aug. 31, the walk-in clinic is available Fridays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for those who have difficulty making an appointment or want to try counseling. The clinic is part of the organization’s Hope for Heroes program. 512-466-4454.
