1. Fusebox Festival The annual festival features film, music, performance art, visual art, culinary creations and public art projects and takes place in various venues and locations in Austin. Fusebox, a nonprofit organization, promotes adventurous and experimental works of art throughout various disciplines.

2. Abloom at Domain Northside A celebration of all things spring continues this weekend at Domain Northside after beginning April 8. Various businesses and restaurants, including some in the Rock Rose district, are offering complimentary items and activities as well as discounts and giveaways. Festivities end with a performance by the Austin Symphony on the Northside lawn at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Headline acts include Jesse Royal, Tarrus Riley and Akae Beka. A vendor area will offer food, clothing, jewelry and other items for sale. The Austin Reggae Festival has grown to become one of the food bank's largest fundraising events. Last year, the festival brought in enough money to provide 330,000 meals for Central Texans facing hunger, according to the food bank. 4. Domain Northside openings
Will Leather Goods hosts a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. for its new location at 11701 Domain Blvd., Ste. 160, Austin. Attendees will be able to explore the store, enjoy music and complimentary food and drink and meet company CEO and founder Will Adler. CB2, which held a grand opening Thursday, is offering all-day brunch through Saturday with food and beverages from Launderette and musical performances by Langhorne Slim and local DJs. Ten percent of proceeds from the weekend event will be donated to the Heath Alliance for Austin Musicians. CB2 sells indoor and outdoor furniture and home decor, including pieces from Crate & Barrel and The Land of Nod. The store is located at 3121 Palm Way, Ste. 110, Austin, and is open Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sun. noon-6 p.m. It is closed on Easter Sunday. www.cb2.com5. Funky Chicken Coop Tour The ninth annual event allows the public to visit chicken coops throughout the city. The tour aims to encourage Austin residents to raise chickens at home by demonstrating how poultry housing can be incorporated into urban spaces without violating city ordinances or creating a nuisance.
