Navy Day at Austin Aquarium
Navy personnel host a series of demonstrations allowing attendees to try on diving equipment or operate a robot used to disarm and dispose of explosives. Activities are included with admission purchase. The event is part of Austin Navy Week.

Austin Navy Week
The week is designed to give area residents an opportunity to learn about the Navy, its people and its importance to national security and prosperity. The event includes USS Constitution sailors, Navy divers and Navy explosive ordinance disposal teams, Navy band performances, visits to area schools and community service projects.

Adopt-A-Park meeting
Residents learn how they can help improve Barrington School Park in North Austin. The Adopt-A-Park program is a collaboration between community members, the city of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and the Austin Parks Foundation.

AARC Gardening Day
Attendees can help the Asian American Resource Center plant Asian vegetables, herbs and other plants in its garden beds. Sari Albornoz, program director from the Sustainable Food Center, speaks briefly, and snack and drinks will be provided.
