New data from Unlock MLS shows that home sales took a dip in November for the Great Hills area in Northwest Austin’s 78759 ZIP code compared to the previous year.

While home sales dropped from 33 in 2023 to 18 for ZIP code 78759, home prices and the average days on market remained similar year over year.

ZIP code 78727, representing the McNeil area, also experienced a decline in home sales year over year in November, dropping from 20 to 16, or 20%. The number of days on the market for ZIP code 78727 slightly increased alongside the median home sale price.

The number of homes sold in November increased for ZIP codes 78729, 78750 and 78758 by 26.67%, 27.27% and 15.38%, respectively.

ZIP code 78750 experienced the largest decrease in median home sales price in November compared to the previous year, dropping 28.4% from $758,250 in 2023 to $542,500 in 2024.
The average number of days on the market for a home increased 78% in ZIP code 78758 from 47 to 84. The average number of days on the market also increased 31% for ZIP code 78727, rising from 48 in 2023 to 63 in 2024.
