Home sales were up in the North-Northwest Austin market in August, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

ZIP code 78758 saw the biggest jump with a nearly 78% increase year over year. Home sales in 78759 remained consistent with 33 homes sold in both August 2022 and August 2023.

Home prices in the market were mixed in August. Median home prices in 78750 and 78759 both dropped over 4%, the highest year over year in the market, while prices in 78727 increased by just over 18%. The median home price in 78729 remained nearly consistent, decreasing by only $500 from August 2022 to August 2023.

Homes were also consistently on the market longer year over year in each ZIP code, with homes in 78750 lingering on the market the longest—nearly two months.
