Austin FC is hosting a blood drive at Q2 Stadium on July 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. alongside We Are Blood (WrB), signaling the team’s recent partnership with the nonprofit, Central Texas-based blood provider.

July 9 is the first of two upcoming blood drives at Q2 Stadium after WrB and Austin FC announced their multi-year partnership. Donors at the July 9 blood drive will receive an Austin FC-WrB T-shirt and be entered to win a signed jersey by the team, according to a news release.

The multi-year partnership hopes to see increased blood donations and awareness for Central Texas’ need for donors. Those who donate with WrB will also receive a mini-physical, according to WrB’s website.
