Swiftie Cookie Decorating Class
Penny Royal Bakery will host a Taylor Swift-themed cookie decorating class at Erin Condren at Domain Northside. All cookies will be prebaked and icing premade. Participants will be taught how to decorate six scratch-made cookies. Cookies can be made with gluten-free flour for an additional $8 fee. All ages and skill levels are welcome for the 1-3 p.m. class and there will be a second class for ages 15 and up from 4:30-6:30 p.m. with a mimosa bar.

Belles and Chimes will host their fall pinball tournament at The Original Pinballz Arcade. The tournament is neon-themed and the event is restricted to women and nonbinary players only. Players will pay the $10 admission fee at the location. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

SAFE will have their annual Touch-A-Truck event at Q2 Stadium. Children of all ages will be able to touch and explore various kinds of trucks including fire trucks, ambulances and bulldozers. The event will feature face painting, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, bounce houses and more. VIP ticket holders will have one-hour early access to the event at 9 a.m. and be given coffee, a breakfast taco and be allowed to sit in the air-conditioned VIP section for the event.

Real Queen’s Fix Each Other’s Crowns will host a candle making workshop in partnership with Blow Candle Co. The event will feature custom candle making, self-care discussion, snacks and refreshments. All experience levels are welcome and all materials will be provided. Tickets for the event are purchased through donations set at a minimum of $10.

Meet Liane Moriarty, the author of “Here One Moment,” a book focused on free will, destiny, grief and love. Liane Moriarty is known for her book series “Big Little Lies.” Participants will be able to get their copies of “Here One Moment” signed by Moriarty and a picture with her. There will be approximately 200 chairs and seating for the event will be on a first-come, first-serve basis for ticket holders. Participants without tickets will not be guaranteed a signed copy of the book and will be in the standing section of the event.

Domain Northside will host their free concert series with performances from indie rock/pop bands flor and Krooked Kings. In addition to the musical performances, the event will feature streetside pop-up bars, photo ops and yard games. The event begins at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6 p.m. The performances will also be live streamed through Veeps for those who cannot make it to the in-person event.

Join the Texas Brewery Running Series at their 5k Beer Run located at Austin Beerworks. The run will start and end at the taproom and will feature live music, games and goodies from sponsors and partners. Each participant will receive a craft brew at the finish line, their choice of a pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win prizes and access to the event’s activities.
