The Austin Celtic Association will hold its 27th festival celebrating Celtic culture on Nov. 4-5.

With multiple stages throughout the event grounds at Pioneer Farms, attendees of the Austin Celtic Festival have a variety of performances, shops, demonstrations and more to choose from.

The event will include live music from Irish fiddler Frankie Gavin, folk musician Rory Makem, The Fitzgeralds and more. Live performances will also include traditional dances from the Scottish County Dance Alliance and Inishfree School of Irish Dance.

In addition to musicians and dancers, there will also be a one-woman play by Lorella Loftus, "Not My Mother," and Wildlife Revealed’s demonstration of birds of prey.


Festivalgoers can also shop at craft and food vendors, and watch a number competitions, such as the Celtic Dog Parade and Highland Games.

What else?

Alongside shopping and performances, several workshops will be held teaching a range of topics from beginner Irish guitar to country dancing.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, as there are no ticket sales at the gate.
