Ovation Gala: Bright Lights

Greater Austin Asian Chamber members will gather to celebrate and recognize work completed by the community throughout the past year. Locals were invited to nominate inspirational people from the area to receive an award in one of the four categories, which include Asian/Pacific American Community Organization of the Year, Creative Arts Entrepreneur, Emerging Business and Business of the Year.Austin Tequila Fest

The Austin Tequila Society will team up with Casa Chapala to present Austin Tequila Fest. The festival will provide those attending a chance to explore 25 different brands of agave spirits, including tequila, mezcal and sotol. Live entertainment and face painting along with street tacos and treats from local vendors will also be available during the event.

Fall Back into Wellness Market & Open House

The massage, skin care and wellness studio in Northwest Austin will bring together local wellness vendors and boutiques for the public to peruse. During the event, an interactive Austin-themed mural will be revealed by artist Hivibemoon.Central Texas Bluegrass Association’s 45th annual Meeting and Show

The annual bluegrass gathering will feature live music from Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Karl Shiflett and Big Country. Food will be available to purchase from trucks Bun Boy and Daygos during the evening.

A Christmas Affair: Holiday Market


Benefiting the Junior League of Austin, the holiday bazaar will offer more than 200 vendors from both small- and midsize businesses. Various party tickets are also available for purchase and include opportunities such as Supernova Girls' Night Out and Mission to Brunch and a Sip and Shop.

Carlson Care’s Bear Fair North Austin

The Carlson Law Firm North Austin team will host a toy and clothing drive. Anyone donating either a new toy or a warm article of clothing will have the chance to make a custom teddy bear. There will also be various giveaways and treats throughout the afternoon.

ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot

Benefiting the nonprofit whose goal is to end homelessness in the area, Caritas of Austin, the ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot is known to be the largest 5-mile run in the state and attracts more than 20,000 runners each year. A raffle for a new Honda Accord will also take place during the event.

Zilker Holiday Tree Lighting

Since its first lighting in 1967, the Zilker Holiday Tree has become a tradition for many in Austin. The 155-foot-tall tree is decorated by more than 3,300 lights and adorned with a 10-foot double star. Local live entertainment and food will accompany the event.
