Texas Thrift officially opened at a new location Sept. 9, staff confirmed.

The store was originally located at 5319 N. I-35, Austin before moving to 8740 Research Blvd., Austin.

The store hosted their grand opening on Sept. 1 where the business offered customers snacks and held raffles for prizes such as a Stanley cup.

Texas Thrift houses locations in Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee with over 15 locations in Texas. The business sells used clothing, furniture, accessories and houseware.
