“We really do have a little bit of everything,” Managing Partner Jack McCauley said. “Every customer that comes to us is a little bit unique, and what we do is really useful ... trying to figure out what that solution is.”
What’s special about it
Founded about 10 years ago by longtime friends and car lovers McCauley and Managing Partner Randy Whitten, the business provides service for any customer needing long-term vehicle upkeep, such as someone traveling, off to college or in need of assistance keeping up with a car collection.
“We do inspections, we do pickups, we do drop-offs, we do shipments and everything in between,” Whitten said.
A team of roughly 10 employees keep cars in top condition by checking tires and batteries, completing annual services and tending to the unique needs of each car and customer.
What else?
In addition to in-storage services, the business also provides an at-home service to maintain car collections at a client’s home. With twice-monthly home health care visits, staff provide the same level of care and oversight as cars in storage.
With a warehouse and clientele base full of everything from Mustangs to a sentimental hand-me-down, Petrol Lounge wants to make owning multiple cars easy for clients, McCauley said.
“You tell us what you need with your car collection, what your pain points are, and we're here to solve that,” McCauley said.
