1. Boss Pizza Co. officially opened at 7318 McNeil Drive in April. The restaurant serves a variety of specialty pizzas, such as the son of a peach pizza with roasted peaches, prosciutto, goat cheese and pecans; build-your-own traditional pizzas with up to four toppings; salads; and desserts, such as cannolis made in-house. 2. Uplift Desk, an Austin-based ergonomic office furniture company, opened up a new showroom location at 1848 Ferguson Lane in early April. 3. Thrift store Uptown Cheapskate opened at 11066 Pecan Park Blvd., Ste. 105, in Cedar Park on May 4. Uptown Cheapskate is a clothing resale store that buys and sells trendy clothes for teens and young adults.
