The runoff features races for Manor mayor, an Austin ISD board of trustees position and Austin City Council's District 7 seat.
As is typical for runoffs, this month's early voting turnout fell significantly from the November general election when dozens of local, state and national races drew more than half of Travis County's registered voters to the polls early.
The less than 2.5% countywide early turnout from Dec. 2-10 was well below the same period for December 2022's runoff, which brought out Austin voters citywide for the mayoral race and three individual council district contests.
This December's runoff also saw lower early voting turnout than in December 2018 or December 2020.
What's next
Dozens of polling places around the county will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for the runoff Dec. 14. Eligible voters can cast ballots at any location.
