Residents are being asked to give their input on whether the community is prepared for natural disasters in a survey available until July 13.
Local emergency managers are hoping to gain information such as how prepared residents are or which homes are located in flood plains. The county will use the information to update its Hazard Mitigation Plan, according to a county news release. The anonymous survey consists of 35 questions with space for additional comments at the end and is expected to take less than five minutes to complete.
