Jodi Elliott will open Bribery Bakery at 2013 Wells Branch Parkway, Ste. 109, in an area she said is lacking in options. She said she hopes she can change that. “I have an opportunity to reach a totally untapped market,” Elliott said. The bakeshop will serve cakes, cookies, pies, cupcakes, blondies and brownies as well as savory baked goods. Elliott said Bribery will be different than other bakeries because of her experience in fine dining and her ability to layer multiple flavors. Bribery also will serve Casa Basil coffee, espressos, cappuccinos and other coffee drinks, she said. "With great baked goods, you need great coffee," Elliott said. This won’t be Elliott’s first location. The bakery will serve as a commissary kitchen for Elliott to expand wholesale operations. She said she also plans to open a second location in 2015 in the Mueller development that will be as a bakery by day with plated desserts and cocktails served at night. Bribery will be open Tue.-Fri. from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Sat.-Sun. 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and can host parties and private events.
