Owners Chris Bash of Austin Beer Run and John Liska have combined a yoga class with Sunday brunch, mimosas and a chance to meet new friends.
The first Yomosas class was held Jan. 25 with attendees of various skill levels practicing traditional hatha yoga. The one-hour begins at 10 a.m. before reconvening at the Abel's on the Lake upper deck, 3825 Lake Austin Blvd. A breakfast-taco brunch and mimosas are served after class.
The owners intend to schedule more classes beyond Sundays, and the hope is to bring Yomosas to other areas of Austin, Liska said. 415-409-9575.

COMING SOON—Austin-based burger chain P. Terry's has a new location planned for 5900 N. Lamar Blvd., former home of the The Corner Shoppe. Demolition of The Corner Shoppe building has begun to make way for P. Terry's trademark Googie architecture. Owner Patrick Terry said he could not yet confirm when the location will open, but his team is already hard at work. An anticipated downtown P. Terry's location at the southeast corner of Congress Avenue and Sixth Street in the Bank of America building will open in late March or early April, he said. Terry said he is excited to bring new breakfast and lunch options to downtown workers as well as dinner options for late-night patrons. The burger joint is adding a special grill for the downtown location to handle large take-out orders, Terry said. He and his wife, Kathie Terry, opened their first P. Terry's burger stand at 404 S. NOW OPEN—The former The Wet Whistle, 1900 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., is now home to a new Juiceland location. Outside construction and anticipated interior renovations currently prevent patrons from entering the new location. CLOSINGS—The Horseshoe Lounge, 2034 S. Lamar Blvd., will open its doors for the last time Feb. 15 at its original location. Fifty years ago, Jim and Rene Gewin opened the bar, which is now run by their daughter Tennia Brown and her husband, Brad.
