The Southlake Women's Club has set its annual tax-free school supply sale to serve Carroll ISD in August.

The event, set from 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, will be at Carroll High School at 800 N. White Chapel Blvd., and coincides with the state's annual sales tax holiday for back-to-school shopping Aug. 8-10.

Supply packs range from about $45 to $90, depending on grade level and school. More pricing information is available at www.southlakewomensclub.org.

Participating schools include Carroll Elementary, Johnson Elementary, Old Union Elementary, Walnut Grove Elementary, Durham Intermediate, Eubanks Intermediate, Carroll Middle School and Dawson Middle School, according to a release from the club.

The event has raised more than $300,000 to date over the last 15-plus years. The funds are distributed back to the participating schools to provide materials for instruction and enrichment, and some students with financial needs also receive scholarship packets from the money raised.

Online orders will be available through the Southlake Woman's Club website from Aug. 10-17, as well, but are subject to sales tax and shipping fees. Online orders are also not guaranteed to be delivered before the first day of school on Aug. 25.
