The Grubbs family has broken ground on Infiniti's newest dealership, spanning 75,000 square feet and will be located on part of 16 acres of land at the southwest corner of SH 114 and Texan Trail, owned by Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
The Infiniti company awarded this title to the coming dealership, calling it the premier flagship for Infiniti across the world, said Co-owner and Executive Manager George Grubbs III.
For 15 years, Grubbs Infiniti has resided in Euless, but Grubbs said it has outgrown its facility. The family started looking for land two years ago and sought out Grapevine to be closer to the customer base and competition, Grubbs said.
"Infiniti is not as well-known of a brand, and my challenge has always been to get on people's shopping list," he said. "We have more product to offer, we're going to be next to our competition and we'll go head to head with everybody very well."
The dealership will feature a new design that places the cars in a way that surrounds the main facility on every side and will be environmentally friendly by using high-efficient LED lighting inside and outside. The building will also include a customer caf with snacks, lunches and desserts and a VIP lounge with free Wi-Fi and Starbucks coffee, Grubbs said.
The dealership has a 40-year ground lease with the airport, Grubbs said.
The Grubbs Infiniti dealership is expected to open early 2015. Visit Grubbs Infiniti for more information.
