The city of Frisco is still looking for community input for its comprehensive plan update.
As of April 13, the city had received a total of 156 filled out questionnaires, which planning consultants say is a good response.
The planning process is ongoing. Interviews with some city stakeholders, city staff members and others are also ongoing. The city hosted its first community open house April 10, at which about 60 residents participated.
The city's comprehensive plan update website, www.friscotexas.gov/future, provides residents with the opportunity to fill out an online survey as well as participate in an online message board.
The second Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee meeting was held April 14, and an April 24 joint meeting took place involving the CPAC members and consultants, Frisco City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Another CPAC workshop session is scheduled for 9 a.m.–3 p.m. May 17 at the Frisco Senior Center.
