Details have been announced for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce's 28th annual Economic Outlook Conference, an event that typically sees more than 500 area business and community leaders gather to hear updates on the economic climate of The Woodlands.

This year's conference will be held Feb. 14 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center and will feature ExxonMobil Senior Advisor Bob Davis as its keynote speaker.

Other speakers include Rep. Kevin Brady (R-8), co-president of The Woodlands Development Company Alex Sutton, chairman of The Woodlands Township board of directors Bruce Tough, and several other corporate and local leaders.

"I always say this one will be the best ever, but this year it is truer than ever before," said Karen Hoylman, president and CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce.

The theme for this year's event is "Energy to Grow" and, according to the chamber, speakers will discuss the sustainability of The Woodlands' success and key markets that will fuel continued growth.

"When we wrap up 2013, it will be a record year for job growth, but 2014 will be bigger," said Gil Staley, CEO of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership.
