Collin and Denton counties by wide margins passed all nine proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution during the Nov. 5 election.

Of 456,384 registered voters in Collin County, 38,054 or 8.33 percent went to the polls, according to Collin County's election website.

Of 382,161 registered voters in Denton County, 28,334 or 7.41 percent voted, according to Denton County's election website.

Both counties overwhelmingly passed one of the biggest issues on the ballot, Proposition 6, which will allow $2 billion from Texas' rainy day fund to be used for a state water project fund.
