Incumbents Christopher Wilder and Mark Scott, along with candidate Ken Beck, won the Village of Volente council election Nov. 5, according to unofficial results.

With the single precinct reporting, Beck received 31.83 percent of the votes, Wilder received 28.22 percent of the votes, and Scott received 26.41 percent of the votes. Challenger Mike Nitz garnered 13.54 percent of the votes.

With a total of 443 votes cast, Beck received 141, Wilder received 125, Scott received 117 and Nitz received 60.

Council members serve a two-year term. All results are unofficial until canvassed.

In Volente, where four candidates are vying for three open village council seats, incumbent Christopher Wilder, incumbent Mark Scott and candidate Ken Beck are leading the race.

According to unofficial early voting totals, Beck and Wilder each have 29.5 percent of the votes. Scott carries 28 percent of the early votes. Candidate Mike Nitz received 13 percent of the early votes.

A total of 122 votes were cast during early voting for the Village of Volente's open council positions, which are two-year terms.

A single precinct is left to report before the total number of votes have been tallied.

Council meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
