Royers Pie Haven, a destination cafe located in Round Top, halfway between Austin and Houston, will now be more accessible than ever.

The pie shop will expand to open its first Austin location Nov. 10 at the former Toy Joy location, 2900 Guadalupe St., Ste. B. Various specialty pies, savory pies, breakfast items and pastries will be sold at Royer's, as well as specialty pie muffins, pie shakes, pie truffles and more.

"But the pies—there's something about the pies," co-owner Bud "The Pie Man" Royer said. His daughter, Tara "The Pie Queen" Royer Steele created the Pie Haven concept, he said.

Much of Royers business comes from Austinites, he said, whether it be at the Round Top location or through online pie orders. To celebrate its entrance into the Austin market, the business will hold a grand opening celebration starting at 11 a.m. Nov. 10.
