Austin-based taqueria Tacodeli announced Oct. 29 plans to open two new locations, including one along Burnet Road south of Anderson Lane.

The new brick-and-mortar restaurants, located at 7301 Burnet Road near the Crestview neighborhood and 701 S. Capital of Texas Hwy. in the Village at Westlake shopping center, are scheduled to open sometime in early 2014. They will represent Tacodell's fourth and fifth Austin locations.

The new restaurants will be 2,200–2,400 square feet with patio seating and the same breakfast, lunch and specialty taco menus as the other locations. The expansions could serve as a segue to more growth, co-owner Eric Wilkerson said in a statement.

"We would like to grow the Tacodeli brand in Austin and perhaps in other cities, and this is a great opportunity for us to make sure we can handle that kind of growth," he said.

Tacodeli first started in 1999 on Spyglass Drive in South Austin. The Austin chain has two other locations at 12001 Burnet Road in North Austin and 4200 N. Lamar in Central Austin.
