Williamson County commissioners will host budget modification workshops at 8 a.m. Aug. 19 and at 1 p.m. Aug. 20 to entertain any changes to the proposed 2013–14 budget presented to the court Aug. 6.

"Oftentimes, when a change is made to one line item, it could change other line items," said Connie Watson, Williamson County public affairs manager. "We hope to do all these changes between [Aug.] 19 and 20 so figures can be finalized."

Commissioners Court is expected to act on adopting the budget at its regular meeting Aug. 27 in the Williamson County Courthouse.
