The Hill Country Galleria is the proposed site for Sonesta Hotel and the shopping complex is hosting a public event tonight regarding the site.

Adrian Overstreet, managing member of the Hill Country Galleria, wanted to host the event to update the public on the status of the hotel and give residents a forum to voice concerns or suggestions for the hotel, said Courtney Bunte, Hill Country Galleria Marketing Manager.

"We want to give an update as well as have people say what they would like to see in the hotel," Bunte said. "Whether they want a rooftop bar, shopping or a restaurant [in the hotel] we want people to have a voice."

The event will be held from 6:30–9 p.m. at Chisos Grill in the Galleria. Complimentary drinks and appetizers will be served.
