The Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown hosted its 5th Annual Celebration Banquet Feb. 28 at the Georgetown Community Center in San Gabriel Park.
The banquet recognized supporters and raised funds for the club, which provides programs for children ages 7–17.
During the ceremony, club members presented awards, including the Volunteer of the Year, Community Partner of the Year and the Jeremiah Milbank Award, which honors a donor who gave more than $10,000. Other donors were also recognized.
In 2012, the club served more than 750 children and opened its second location at the former McCoy Elementary School campus on Williams Drive.
