The Georgetown Swirl was named Best Promotional Event by the Texas Downtown Association on Nov. 8.
The Swirl was given the award as part of the TDA's Presidential Awards Program. The judges panel said the Swirl was a comprehensive event that supported local restaurants and businesses as well as area wineries, a news release said.
