WIth all of Hays County's precincts reporting, the four-way race for the 22nd District Judge nomination appears to be headed for a runoff.
According to unofficial results from the Hays County Elections Office, David Glickler earned 2,819 votes, or 39.96 percent of ballots cast in the May 29 primary.
Glickler faced fellow Republicans Bruce Boyer, Ronnie Dickens and David L. Nigh. Boyer earned 1,893 votes, for 26.8 percent of the total. Dickens garnered 1,559 votes, or 22.10 percent, and Nigh received 783 votes, or 11.10 percent.
Because no single candidate received 51 percent of the vote, Glickler will face Boyer in a runoff July 31. There were no Democratic challengers for the office.
