In the Lakeway City Council race, incumbents Bruce Harris and Dave Taylor had a steady lead for two of the three open seats, according to unofficial results.

But it was a tight race for the third open at-large seat between Anita Cokins and incumbent Dee Ann Burns-Farrell.

With all precincts reporting, preliminary results showed Harris with 25 percent of the vote and Taylor with 24 percent of the vote. Burns-Farrell had 19.75 percent with 910 votes and Cokins had 19.23 percent with 886 votes.

Kay Sconci had 12 percent of the vote, according to the unofficial results. Approximately 4,600 voted in the Lakeway City Council election.
