Four candidates filed for two seats up for election on the Georgetown ISD board of trustees.

Incumbent Greg Eady, Place 6, will run again for his seat on the school board against Francis C. Jackson.

Candidates for Place 7, which is being vacated by Brad Smith, include Paul Newton and Ronna Jackson.

The school board election will be May 12. Early voting begins April 30, and the last day to register to vote is April 12.
