A portion of Barbarosa Road will be closed beginning Feb. 11 as crews complete drainage improvements necessary for the upcoming Grace Meadows development.

Due to the high volume of traffic that utilizes the corridor during the week, the city of New Braunfels has directed the developer, Legacy Sitework, LLC, to work only on weekends, according to a city press release.

The weekly closures will begin Fridays at 6 p.m., and the roadway will reopen by 6 a.m. on Mondays.

Work is expected to last through mid-March, and detours will be in place for the duration of the project.
